BizNote Privacy Policy

BizNote is a business note and business card management app. The app does not require account registration or login.

Data Stored by the App

BizNote may store notes, business card information, scanned card images, attachments, event information, meeting information, task information, tags, app settings, and optional location text selected by the user.

This data is stored on the user’s device. If the user enables iCloud sync, data may be synced through the user’s personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service.

Data Collection

The developer does not operate a separate server for collecting user data from BizNote.

The developer cannot access the user’s notes, business card data, scanned images, attachments, or iCloud data.

Tracking and Advertising

BizNote does not track users across apps or websites.

BizNote does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

Permissions

BizNote may request access to the camera to scan business cards.

BizNote may request access to photos so the user can select images for business cards or event information.

BizNote may request access to contacts so the user can import contact information, detect duplicate contacts, or save business card information to Contacts.

BizNote may request access to location while in use so the user can enter the current location into meeting or event notes.

BizNote may request access to calendars and reminders if the user chooses to sync events or tasks with Apple’s Calendar or Reminders apps.

Data Deletion

Users can delete notes, business card records, attachments, event information, and custom templates inside the app.

Users can also delete the app to remove local app data from the device. If iCloud sync is enabled, synced data may remain in the user’s iCloud account according to Apple’s iCloud data handling behavior.
